Our Story

A little over 37 years ago our founding pastors Cruz and Luz Maria Chairez were called by God to start a church in the central part of the city. With only a calling and passion to serve God they started talking to people at Memorial Park. From there they rented a small house on Pierce Ave., and grew to rent a space on Van Buren and Dyer and by the grace of God were able to purchase the property we're now located on now at the corner of Polk and Byron. God has been so good, and now we are a healthy church made up of individuals of various ages and backgrounds who have found a common savior, Jesus Christ. It's through Him that we are made into a family who strives to share the goodness of God's grace and mercy with others.

Our founding Senior Pastor, Cruz Chairez is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and together with Executive Pastors Tommie and Lulu Armenta we are looking to bring fresh vision from God to everyone we come in contact with.

We are an active church who strives to have God's will fulfilled in our lives. We'd love to have you visit, and find out what God can do in your life as well.

Now we're focused on reaching out to the community in different ways while still making sure to focus on growing together to discover what God has in store for our future. We plan on telling everyone how their lives too, can be transformed and renewed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We're confident that Jesus Christ is the answer to the emptiness everyone is seeking to fill their lives with. It's our mission to take the message of hope, faith, and love to everyone we meet and to show them that our lives have purpose and life has deep meaning and satisfaction.
